Hastelloy C276 is a Nickel molybdenum chromium alloy with an addition of tungstun possess good corossion resistance in various of extreme environments. The high molybdenum content makes the alloy resistant to pitting and crevice corossion. Its low carbon content minimizes carbide precipitation during welding to keep corossion resistance in welded structures.
